Video ads a bad idea

I used to like this app as a quick way of catching up on Seattle area news. But recently they added video ads that force you to wait before reading news items. The developers need to understand that there are many sources of local news online and that putting up any sort of annoyance will cause people to go elsewhere. As for me Ive deleted the app and will stick to Google News.
