Since I am abroad, I keep connected to what goes on in Seattle daily.

Really enjoy keeping in touch with the local news from abroad, but wish there werent so many mistakes in the writing. One can barely read one article without finding grammar and spelling errors. Sloppy, hurried sometimes.

Big improvement.

A Washington native, I live in Canada now. This app is great, keeps me up to date with home, and the Seattle weather forecast is accurate for Vancouver Island!

Great app! Forecasts & satellite both very useful...

I live in Vancouver BC but I can get all my Seattle news quickly through the King 5 app. Easy to use and works always!

For local news and doppler weather.

I liked the previous version of this app. This version is poorly laid out. Not enough of it is dedicated to current news events. There is too much visual noise.

I have been watching K5 since 1976 when we moved to Washington. Love everyone on the news and the way they do their job.

Worse and worse. They updated the app. It not takes close to forty five seconds to open. The news is riddled with errors. From spelling to grammar to missing words, there is clearly no editing. This is hardly a source of news. It is click bait in the worst form.

The videos dont load most of the time. The photo subtitles are never there. You have to open the top stories tab, and then go back to get to national news. The typography errors are rampant. Most new articles are the same article from a previous tab with a paragraph or two added, so theres much redundancy. The weather tab does work well, and it offers radar data that is helpful.

The app works well for me, particularly the push notifications regarding freeway closures etc. Those alone have saved me many hours and tons of hassle.

I love King 5 news. Have been watching for 40 years over any other local news. But the app consistently loads so slowly that Ive finally given up and downloaded another local news app. Come on King 5! You are the best! You can do better than this!

This is the last place I turn to for Seattle news. The app is glitchy & locks up on my iPhone. It is impossibly slow to open & the news is often outdated. Its a waste of my time to even try to access this site. King 5, you can do better.

The old app was better and a great deal faster to load. I can never tell if its loading or just hung. Getting my Seattle news elsewhere; dont have the time to waste waiting for Tegnas crappy apps.

The layout doesnt show which articles are the newest. The flow is better on the iPhone.

As a child growing up in what was the very small community of South Hill in Puyallup, King 5, NBC were a regular staple in my home life. I grew up watching & learning from Jean Enerson. Now as a parent myself, Im proudly parsing on the baton of tradition to our family. Always have been... Always will be a King5 viewer!

I downloaded this to keep current when I am out of town. It used to be the best for that. But now, the lead item is 2-3 days old. Breaking news alerts are also stale. And the frequently visible HTML code at the end of each piece - totally unprofessional.

It is frustrations I see a news report stay on for weeks and weeks. Having each news report visible on the first page labeled dated and hour would be appreciated and more professional. Then maybe youll see how stale the news is. You used to be my go to app. Not any more. -- And?? You have to subscribe and make a password just to get access to the help group. Whats up with that. I -was- going to just send my complaint to the help group in the settings. Look at Hawaiis news layout to see how it can be done.

Not as good as the older app. New is stale and you have to go through several windows just to see the headlines
