Prone to crashing/freezing on articles, ridiculously long ads for short videos, ads that you cant escape once they start. Overall very poor user experience, not at all recommended

Really want to use this app but it takes so long to load. Every update seems to make it worse. Traffic section is hard to read and often inaccurate. The notifications are not time stamped so its impossible to determine if they are current or from yesterday. VERY frustrating.

Takes Forever to load!

I have had no problems with this app. Just too many alerts or notifications throughout the day for me, turned the feature off. Great for checking local and national news.

This app loaded great for me! Very helpful for staying up to date in news!

Work great and loads fast Never crashes

Very informative. And keeps you current. Best news reporting in Seattle. Unfortunately it has begun to keep the same stories on for too many days.

But after yet another nag for review, heres my thoughts. While the app is trying to give you more information on the main screen when first launched, this new version has even more clutter than before. When I opened on an iPad in landscape, there is a lot of empty space on the left and right sides. The older version would adjust for landscape, while displaying as much information on the screen as possible. The app does run slow on current devices. Am considering switching from the local king5 NBC affiliate to one of the other local stations as my main news source. Whats even worse with this app, is it gives you push notifications for useless information. You might want to get some of them, but not all of them. Since they are sending out so many alerts, why dont they give you the option to customize which alerts you want. Fun not having that option, I am forced to turn them off. Or uninstall the app.

A pretty good app, except for putting in commercials. I think that is pretty bush league.

Seriously??? Go back to one finger!!! This app started out great, then showed too many ads before BREAKING NEWS videos, and now you need two fingers to move the map. How stupid is that?? If you people are running out of update ideas heres one...LEAVE IT ALONE!!! Put it back the way it was, please!

Ads play … TV broadcast is live, but "unable to play video" post Ad! The King5 App has been my nightly news source for the past few months. Tonight with no updates to the App the Live News Stream service changed … after a viewing for under a minute video will freeze and become boxy. Killing app and restarting results in repeated brown video stream. Funny the new pre-roll advert with each app restart plays just fine. Please fix

I rely on the King 5 news app for important alerts, but lately there are way too many notifications on worthless information. The alerts and notifications should be about news breaking information, not "how to" videos or a casual news story. Im close to deleting the app if the notifications dont slow down and focus on important, time sensitive information!

Have used this app for years but the changes in the past year have been disappointing. Traffic is now harder to see problem spots and news and sports keep freezing up so I have to turn off and on to get it to scroll. Also a lot of old news.

a great way to be informed of the latest news & information...

Site is pretty good with local content but there isnt much in the way of hard hitting news. Often articles have spelling and grammar errors that are distracting and disappointing.

This app always says it cant connect to the internet, when Im using cellular data, even LTE. No other app has this problem, so Im dumping this POS.

Love the news stories, hate how it always crashes when Im trying to read the news stories. Very frustrating.

Latest update that "youll love" which allows for multiple weather alerts doesnt connect to Internet & crashes! Please smash the bugs and give me back my news.
