Half (yes about half, this is not exaggerated) of the videos dont load/play, the screen just stays black after the ad. This is the only app I have where that happens at all, and it happens all the time, and shaves off two stars right there. To add insult to injury you have to watch 30 sec ads first which is definitely beyond the tolerable pain threshold (10-15 max is OK in my opinion), and oftentimes its the same ad over and over which is even more frustrating. Sometimes the news item is even shorter than the ad! Thats another star gone. The news are otherwise OK, although I see "quick and rough" editorial errors (e.g. typos, repeating paragrapghs) on a regular basis. The option to see King 5 live is great though. I watched the Seattle New Year fireworks live from vacation in Europe, that was wonderful.

Too many ads and commercials! Wouldnt recommend downloading this app. I only read online articles. Used to be ad free before, not anymore!!

News is faster from printed newspapers tna update on this site. Spent too much money off new digs and goofy news center. This is the 21st century! Not 1970!

Fix update the travel times to make them more accurate.

This app us horrible! Most updates make it worse and it usually doesnt open.

Buggy, add spam on the bottom is often scam quality. Crashes often and is a severe memory hog

Good news coverage. Well organized. But links rarely work. Please fix.

Apparently all of our local news is a "top" story because the content under both headers is exactly the same. This is just one of the reasons that Seattles news organizations will always be second rate to Los Angeles or New York. Our news arena behaves like a small town market and not a major metropolitan area.

Take forever to load. Neither work most of the time with cellular data. Has to have wi-fi or it doesnt want to work. TV stations need to be technology savvy. Tegna should fire their app staff and start again. Think about deleting them. KOMO way better.

This new version doesnt load smoothly and its weather updates arent exitsupdated quickly enough. If Id be willing enough to remove and reinstall your application, all would work alright, but Im not... Clean up your act and well return.

Your app is has issues. It takes way too long just to open.

Not sure why this version isnt stable. It may have to do with the ads that always belatedly appear at the bottom of the screen. Able to read the news story I select until the ad loads, and then the scrolling becomes sluggish until the app completely crashes. Every. Single. Story. EACH time I use it! I give up, King 5. Gonna delete this app for now. Really hoping to re-install if there is a new, stable version in the future. Sadness...

This app has gotten worse over the years. Almost all the videos dont play and have horribly long ads. The weather and radar is all I use it for now.

I dont use this app much but it does work well when I do. I really like the updates and notifications. Would like more recent information on traffic! Always seems to be behind.

You need time stamps on your stories and good grief someone could update weather and top stories more than once a day

A decent app when you have wi-fi, but doesnt work at all without it. I expect an iPhone app to work with or without wi-fi

Ive used this app for awhile and have generally found it useful. Today I attempted to watch a video in one of the articles and an ad appeared. There was no way to close the add and return to the story (forego watching the video as well). Every other app with adds has a way to cancel the ad view in return for NOT getting to see the video. Whats wrong with you King5??
